Station Guides help manage productivity & workflow of the the coffee shop during rushes, opening hours & slow hours. The Café Lead will assign “Station(s)”. Depending on the time of day, you may be assigned to 1 station or even 3 stations. When a “rush” hits staff must be in their assigned station(s). Note that throughout the day the Lead may move team members as needed. This especially common when transitioning staff for breaks or when a new shift starts. Refer to the Station Guides for responsibility details.
There will be a list of key responsibilities & a station responsibility checklist posted at each station.
In addition, to ensure food and beverages are prepped prior to busy times, on the sandwich prep table there is a Food & Beverage Prep Inventory worksheet. The use of each checklist will be explained during in-person training.
